Obituary of Robert Mark Rea

REA, Robert - March 18, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospice. Robert Rea, formerly of Sarnia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. Robert is pre-deceased by his beloved parents, Marco and Michelina Rea, and his sister, Teresa Ghobril. He is also pre-deceased by his two brothers-in law, Leandro Rocco, and Fred Ghobril. Robert is survived by his loving daughter, KerryAnn King, of Toronto, and her husband, Shane, along with his two precious grandchildren, Sydney and Jamie, who were the lights of his life. Robert is also survived by his loving sister, Lea Rocco, of Sarnia, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Robert was a long time employee of Famous Players Theatres, starting in his teenage years, and then rising to management, both in Sarnia and then in Toronto. Robert also loved music. He played guitar, drums, and even the accordion, and always enjoyed playing together with his closest friends from school. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered for the kind, gentle, and giving man that he was. Cremation has already taken place, at his request, but a celebration of his life will be held in Toronto at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to St. Joseph's Hospice, 475 N. Christina St. N., Sarnia, N7T 5W3 where he spent his final days so lovingly cared for.
