Obituary of Bernice Kapuscinski

KAPUSCINSKI (Sagan), Bernice – Bernice passed away at Vision Nursing Home on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Lucian. Dear mother of Irene Simankowicz (Tony), Les Kapuscinski (Alice) and Richard Kapuscinski (Tracey). Loving grandmother of Robert Kapuscinski (Lindsey), Laura Collaton (Matthew), Eric Simankowicz (Jessica), Ryan Kapuscinski (Marisa) and Matthew Kapuscinski. Great-grandmother of William and Elizabeth, Olivia and Isabel, Kasia and Antoni (A.J.). Sister-in-law of Chester Januskiewicz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins from the Zajda and Walawender families. Predeceased by parents Tomas and Anna Sagan, sister Janina Januskiewicz and infant brother Tadziu.

Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Sunday from 5-8:30 p.m. with prayers being offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Queen of Peace Church.  Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
