Rest in peace Gerry. I just found out today nov 18th that you passed away. Always a smile on your face. Gonna miss you. I met Gerry years ago in the boilermakers we were both welders and car builders. A talented man. A kind and generous man also. See you on the other side buddy.

Gerry always made me feel safe. He never crossed any boundaries. I know him and Audrey are watching the Scarlet Pimpernel in Heaven.

I have a few fond memories of Gerry as we interacted at family gatherings through many years. As Gerry was one of my older cousins we didn't hang out all that often, but when we did, he was always kind, soft spoken and willing to share his quiet wisdom when asked what his thoughts were. There were the family dinners in the 70's (mainly at Gram's; sometimes at alternating aunt/uncle homes) where stories of his love of playing the drums and letting me hold a prized pair of drum sticks is warm in my memory. Decades on, he accompanied Uncle Joe on a trip to Ottawa where I played "tour guide" then we enjoyed catching up over a meal at a little bistro on the canal. The last I had the honor of seeing Gerry was a few yrs back at an August "birthday" BBQ hosted by my brother (those two stayed in good touch over the years - not surprising being they were "hang-out buddies" during childhood visits to Sarnia). Gerry, I wish you light and peace in your next journey. Kenny, my condolences on the loss of your big brother. Much love, cousin, Nancy.

Sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. My first memory of Gerry was when I first came to the Lord and attended Bethel church, and he was playing drums on the worship team. I didn't know many in the church and I sat in the back row, and after playing , he was the first to come to where I was sitting and introduced himself, shook my hand and welcomed me. That was 1982. We have been friends since. We played together at RCV and many times I would pick him up to go to the Friday night bible study . He knew scripture and always had good things to add to the study. He always talked about music. He was a very friendly, kind person. I am going to miss him.

Gerry was a passionate person. He loved drums, cars and women. He was a proud Boilermaker, and wrote copiously. He loved quoting Scripture and discovering new words. Rest in Peace Gerbear, you were loved.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Gerry. I have many fond memories of playing with him on Sunday mornings at River City Vineyard. He was a very talented drummer, and a very sweet soul. He will be missed.
