Obituary of Maria Ondina Anjos-DaCunha

DACUNHA (Anjos), Maria Ondina – Surrounded by her family,  Maria passed away at Bluewater Health on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Eduino. Dear mother of Michael Dacunha, Melanie Moniz (Ben) and the late Melissa. Loving Avó of Miguel, Davis, Nevaeh and Violet. Sister of Antonio Anjos, Filomena Melo (Sebastian), Arceolindo  Anjos and Rui Anjos (Iria).

Her children, witness her unconditional love and selflessness.  She always prioritizes her children's needs.
The love for her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins was unexplainable; they brought her so much joy. She showered them all with love, creating cherish memories forever.

The special bond and devoted love Maria and her husband share will be forever imprinted in our hearts.

Maria was full of energy and love for all who knew her. She loved her culture and traditions. She will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Friday, June 6, 2025 at  10 a.m. The funeral mass will be livestreamed.
