I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I will always remember her laugh and her energy at the family reunions and on stage performances with the Polysar Glee Club. Her laugh was infectious and no one could help but laugh right alongside of her. She reminds me a lot of your grandpa John. Both could light up a room.

Our sincere apologies for the loss of your Mum, Judy. We remember her fondly since we became next door neighbours' in 1979. Even after we moved in 1990 it was always so nice to keep in touch and meet with Judy. We know Judy is now singing her heart like she did during the Polysar Glee Club shows, and Frank, of course, is by her side.

I was very surprised, and saddened when I heard about Judy’s passing. She was a beautiful person. After reading her obituary, she will be missed by many, many people. Judy was a prominent presence, when I joined the Catholic Women’s League in the early 1990’s. She not only led us in Christmas Carol sing-a-longs, at the Christmas potluck, but later in the evening, she would walk back into the hall, dressed in a nightgown, curlers in her hair, and sit on the newest Priest’s lap! Then proceed to sing a song to him, in a terrible off-key voice! It was hilarious! (Maybe not to the priest, though!). I will miss Judy and her hugs. Sending my sincere condolences to Judy’s family and friends. Martha

Time and distance have not separated me from fond memories of my cousin Judy. Although she did not know it, before moving from Sarnia, I was often sitting in the pews of the church wondering if she would remember me and always attended the Glee Club productions. My Father and Marg Jones were siblings. May she RIP.

So sorry to read about the death of your Mom. I have many great memories of her- her laugh, Bridge nights, and her singing lessons at St. Ben’s. I’m sure she was still singing until her final moments on Earth. Thinking of you all.

Such wonderful family memories growing up! And how many times did your Mum and Dad take all us kids to the Detroit Zoo piled in the back of the station wagon LOL.
I can still hear your mother's laugh and her singing voice all these years later. My condolences to all of you and your families as you navigate these times. Hugs to you all.

Tamie, Karen, Sandy, Mark and families,
My first introduction to your Mom and Dad was when I was appointed to St. Benedict’s after my ordination in May of 1975.
Every Sunday the 9:30 am Mass was designated as the Folk Mass, directed by your Mom and a host of singers with guitars. The Mass was spirited, truly alive and usually bursting at the seams. If your Mom wasn’t singing in the choir she would have been, like so many others, involved in other ministries like CWL meetings or preparing for the annual bazaar etc. After 5 years I was transferred, only to return in 1996 to 2007 as pastor. Once again, Judy was still actively involved in many facets of parish life with the same enthusiasm as I first recalled.
Your Mom had many gifts and she shared them freely and generously. Her love for your Dad, you, her community and faith in God was a constant in her life. May her memory be held dear and may she be rewarded with everlasting happiness.
Rest in peace, Judy.
Father Rick Janisse

Thank you Father Rick - my mom had a special place in her heart for you as did we all! She will be missed by many and if anyone deserves everlasting happiness it was her. Her faith never wavered and her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thank you for your kind words!
