Obituary of Marlene Gay Black

BLACK (Miller), Marlene – Marlene passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of David for 50 years and “mother” to her furbabies McDougal, Violet, Juliet and Hope. Dear sister of the late Jennifer Miller (Cathy Broderick), Jacquie Jackson (Fred), Mike Miller (Lona) and Mary Miller (Mike L’Heureux). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Howard and Jean Miller. Marlene was a bookkeeper, working for 37 years at Team Industries. She was a kind and gentle soul. She considered her nieces and nephews her children. Friends will be received at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. A private family interment will take place in the spring.
