Obituary of Angela Taraborrelli

TARABORRELLI (Micomonaco), Angela – Angela passed away at Bluewater Health on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Antonio. Dear mother of Gianni and Marco (Tanya). Loving Nonna of Samantha, Alec, Lia, Sabrina and Tomas. Surviving sibling Antonietta. Predeceased by parents Nicola Micomonaco and Emilia Serano, and siblings Cesare, Arturo, Maria, Gabriele, Concetta and Peppino.

Angela was a seamstress in the early years and loved sharing that talent at home making creations of all sorts for many members of the family.  She loved to cook and bake and prepared wonderful Sunday and holiday dinners plus any time it was needed.  She tended to her garden that contributed to those meals. Her last job was as a janitor at St. Peter’s Catholic school where she enjoyed the rapport with fellow workers and school staff.  Soon after retirement, she enjoyed travelling with Antonio to many sunny destinations.  Then the grandchildren started arriving and she put all her love and energy into them.

Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum.
