Obituary of Angelo Rocca

ROCCA, Angelo – Angelo passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Elsa (D’Ippolito). Dear father of Aldo Rocca (Sabrina) and Lisa Soucek (Miro). Cherished nonno of Diego, Giada, Alessio and Roman. Brother of Aldo Rocca (Adriana) and Robert Rocca (Janice). Brother-in-law of Emilia Ferrera (Vito) and Donato D’Ippolito (Ann-Marie). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and extended family in France, Italy and the U.S.A. Predeceased by parents Pasquale and Ida Rocca and father and mother-in-law Domenico and Annina D’Ippolito. Angelo was a proud member LIUNA Local 1089 Labourers Union for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and loved spending his mornings by the woodstove in the garage with family and friends. He was always up for a good debate over an espresso and a cookie. Angelo could always be found instilling wisdom, insight and knowledge through his many projects with his grandkids whom he adored.

A private funeral service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. with burial in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
