Dear Auntie Selvini, Uncle Ravi, Uncle Pekah, and family,
My heart is heavy with the news of Uncle Christie's passing. Thinking back, I'm reminded of his profound impact on our family, especially my childhood. His boundless generosity, infectious energy, and warm laughter will be deeply missed. I cherish memories of Long Sault picnics and those epic uncle soccer matches. The Napanee weekend-long trips to our house in Dollard, mornings chasing each other in sarongs with all of you with the aroma of Auntie Mani's and Mom's curried omelette, and every Christmas with your family are etched in my heart. I'll never forget Uncle Christie's kindness and support after Mom's Dad passed away, Dad booked an immediete trip to Sri Lanka for her, and then bundled me and my brother up with him to Uncle Christie's house ensuring Bubby and I felt the love of family. His gentle understanding during that difficult time is among my most treasured memories. Sending you all my deepest condolences. Hoping we can gather soon to share more memories.
