Dear Kath, Ang, Natalie, Chip and all of your faimilies
We are so sorry for your loss. We have been in one another's lives for 50 years. Your mom was always a pleasure to talk to. She spoke of and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In the past couple of years, we would have great chats via FaceTime, when Kath and Nancy were out running errands. I dubbed it "Karaoke Car Chats", as they were always fun and lighthearted. One of those times, Nancy told me that she loved going into Reitman's when it was downtown, she and my mom would catch up on life and (hopefully my mom didn't tell her about us girls sitting around our kitchen table smoking and drinking).
After your mom's heartbreaking diagnosis, she was such a warrior, so strong and courageous in her decision to go ahead with the lenghty surgery and recovery. She was blessed to have all of you, tirelessly rally around her, before, during and after
the operation.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, not only now, but in the days and months to come.
