Pierre was a dedicated father and grandfather. He was an avid wood worker and built many wooden model toys. He spent many hours at the Strangway center. Pierre was featured in the newspaper with his toys. Pierre has been a pipefitter for more than 40 years in Local 663. Dad was known for his fierce personality and his love for baking. He made a mean cheese cake. Dad often joked with the grandkids that he would be selling them to the gypsies. You would often see him walking through the whole city. He had a passion for walking and on those walks he often would wave to any of his friends he met along the way. In his younger years he was known for being an athlete at Northern high school.
The family would like to express their thanks to all the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor at Bluewater Health Sarnia . Cremation has taken place and in honouring Pierre’s wishes there will be no visitation or service at this time.
