BUSCEMA, Vincenzo - Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Bluewater Heath - Sarnia, on February 19, 2018, Vincenzo Buscema passed away in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Rosaria "Sarina" (nee Spadola) for 61 years. Loving father of Ignatius, "Iggy" Buscema, Peter (Kelley) Buscema and Marco (Luisa) Buscema. Loving Nonno to Chad, Nicole and Christopher, Karah and Jessica. Predeceased by his parents Ignazio and Emelia Buscema. Also predeceased by brothers; Giorgio (Venezuela), Giovani and sisters; Vincenza, Helena, Margarita, Carmelina and Lena. Survived by his sister Erica and several relatives, all of Modica, Sicily. Vincenzo immigrated to Canada in 1952, where he first started working in construction. He later found employment with Holmes Foundry where he worked for 26 years. After a life time of hard work, Dad filled his days helping his children with construction projects and artisan type creations. Often, he could be found tinkering in his garage and tending to his bountiful garden from which, fresh figs were served after a long hot summer. Vincenzo was a dedicated family man who loved to spend time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. The story teller will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We will all miss him deeply. Family and friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, February 23rd, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 24th 2018 at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 1011 Oak Avenue, Sarnia, at 10:30 am. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. Sympathy may be expressed with a donation to a charity of choice. Messages of condolence and memories may be left at
