GRAY, MARY MARGUERITE- Surrounded by her family at Marshall Gowland Manor, Mary Gray died peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Fred Gray Jr. (2003). Loving mother of Dorothy Gray, Sarnia, Joyce & her husband Larry LaFond, Sarnia and Brian & his wife Gerri, Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of April-Marie Valvasori & her husband Steve and Justin Lupi & his fiancee Kelsey McKague. Great-grandmother of Drake Morris. Dear sister of Marguerite Hamilton, Tom Hamilton and Joseph Hamilton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Marguerite Hamilton, sisters Dorothy Kloske and Shirley McGregor, son-in-law Ben Lupi. Mary worked at Greer's Variety Store over 30 years. Her greatest gift was her children and grandchildren; time spent with them brought her many years of joy. Mary loved to square dance with April and kept up with all the current sports news to share with Justin. She loved her roses and enjoyed baking. Mary volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Marshall Gowland Manor for their compassionate care of Mary over the years. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Thursday, October 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel. Cremation to follow with private interment at Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
