DE MEESTER, Joseph "Joe" - With his family by his side, suddenly at University Hospital, London, Joe De Meester died at the age of 62. Beloved husband of 42 years to Sandy (nee Ladanchuk). Loving father of Daniel & Joey De Meester. Dear brother of Ron De Meester ( Darcy), Petrolia, Jim (Gennie) De Meester, Marysville, Cathy Timmington (Brian) Pt. Edward and Sandy De Meester, Marysville. Brother-in-law of Jerry (Trudy) Ladanchuk and Evelyn Ladanchuk, Sarnia. Also survived by his uncle Bill De Meester (Joyce), his aunt Liz Seabrook and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Sr. & Mary De Meester and brother Tony De Meester. Joe was a devoted husband and father. Family was the most important thing in his life. He loved to spend time at his second house, the home of his brother & best friend Ron. Joe was an avid outdoorsman. His favorite past time was fishing and hunting. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Joe's life will be held at Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia, N7T 4Y1 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 415 Exmouth St., Sarnia, N7T 8A4.
