McPHERSON, Blaise - With his family by his side, Blaise McPherson died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the age of 67. Beloved son of the late Michael & Mary Jane McPherson. Loving brother of Josie Lightfoot & her husband Ron, Sarnia, Rose McPherson & her partner Ed Leppert, Brantford, Marg Boutilier & her husband Willy, Cape Bretton, Ann Arnold & her late husband Joe, Ottawa and Michael McPherson. Cherished uncle of Michelle Arseneau, Jessica Hallet, Bonnie Jean Boutilier (Brian), Doreen Boutilier, Kathy Bonner (Barry), Joe Arnold (Jessica) and Jane Arnold. Great-uncle of Jarerd, Logan, CJ, Stephen, Shane and Cory. Predeceased by his parents Marie Jane & Michael McPherson and his brothers Eli and Londo. Blaise worked for many years in the nickel mines out west and the coal mines out east. His passion in life was spending time with his family. Blaise loved to walk anywhere and everywhere. He liked baseball, darts, pool, reading and enjoyed playing cards. To Blaise: It was an honour to have a wonderful caring, loving brother. You were a gentleman, easy going and had everyone's interest at heart. You gave all of yourself to others to make them happy. Son of a coal miner in Dominion N.S. Blaise will be missed by all his sisters whom are left to hold on to the memories he has left for each of us. Thank you Blaise, we love you dearly. Special friends that will also miss Blaise are Debbie, Sandra, Marcella and Trish. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to St. Joseph's Hospice, 475 N.
