Obituary of Colene Munro

MUNRO, SHIRLEY COLENE – Surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Colene Munro died peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” Munro. Loving mother of Chuck Munro & his fiance Tara Butler and Sharri Carr & her husband George. Cherished grandmother of Austin & Ashlynn Munro. Dear sister of the late William Catt (Marleene) and the late Douglas Catt. Sister-in-law of Charlotte Croteau (Roger) & Theresa Munro (late Norm). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by her parents Maurice & Hilda Catt. Colene’s passion in life was her family. She loved to research the family genealogy. Colene enjoyed playing cards. She worked as a payroll accountant for several firms in Sarnia retiring in 2016. Colene was a very selfless person always giving to others before herself. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Friday December 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
