THURLOW, Dennis Gordon - On Tuesday March 27th, 2012, in his 73rd year, Dennis G. Thurlow died suddenly due to cardiac arrest.  He loved his family and work, and his booming voice and infectious laughter could be heard wherever he was. Loving husband to Ann (nee Dupuis) for 40 years.  Cherished father to Dennis Thurlow Jr. (Lorrie Miller), Debra Warren (Bill), Tammy Cammidge, and Dana Taylor (Chris Weatherhead).  He was loved by all his 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.   Dear brother to Grant, Bill (Carolyn), Marsh (Sharon) and Jerry (Deb); and brother-in-law to Terry Dupuis (Sharon), Barry Dupuis (Marie) and Sharon Harding (Doug), Sheila Dupuis.  He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ruth Thurlow and his grandson Justin Cammidge.  His loving puppy Maggie will also miss him.  Family and friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, March 30th  from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Antoine Laforet at St. Benedict’s Church on Saturday, March 31st at 10 a.m.  Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may forward donations in Dennis' memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 774 London Rd., Sarnia  ON  N7T 4Y1 and the Canadian Diabetes Association, 415 Exmouth St., Sarnia, ON  N7T 8A4.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com A tree will be planted in memory of Dennis Thurlow Sr. in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
